					<description><![CDATA[COVID-free tourist travel corridors  Health Minister Roberto Speranza has signed an ordinance that establishes &#8211; on an experimental basis and with precise safety protocols &#8211; COVID-free travel corridors for non-EU tourist destinations. The tourist travel corridors are operating to Aruba, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Dominican Republic, Egypt (limited to the tourist areas of Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam). Read the ordinance of 28 September 2021 (in Italian only). Otherwise, those who only have certification of a molecular or antigenic test are obliged to undergo self-isolation for 5 days at the address indicated on the Passenger Locator Form along with a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by swab, at the end of the isolation period. <h4><strong>Countries of the European Union and the Schengen area: entry with COVID-19 Green Certificate</strong></h4>
<p>The COVID-19 Green Certificate makes it easier to travel to Italy and other countries of the European Union and to the countries of the Schengen area. To enter Italy with the COVID-19 Green Certificate, travellers must meet <strong>one</strong> of the following conditions, as shown in the Certificate:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>have completed the prescribed anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination cycle</strong></li>
<li>or <strong>have recovered from COVID-19</strong></li>
<li>or have taken a<strong> molecular or antigen swab test within 48 hours prior to</strong> entering Italy with negative results.</li>

<h4>&#8220;Covid-tested&#8221; Flights &#8211; Passenger Locator Form</h4>
<p>Covid-tested flights are flights that have been authorised by the Ministry of Health by means of a special ordinance.</p>

<h4><strong>Use of EU Digital COVID Certificates on public transport in Italy</strong></h4>
<p>From 1 September, access to the following means of public transport will be restricted to holders of EU Digital COVID Certificates only:</p>
<ul>
<li>commercial passenger planes
<ul>
<li><strong>Domestic Flights</strong><br />
In particular, to travel by plane on all flights departing from or arriving at Italian airports, it is necessary to have a COVID-19 green certificate (Green pass) or equivalent certificates &#8211; with the exception of minors excluded by age from the vaccination campaign (up to 12 years of age) and exempt people with suitable medical certification. Depending on current legislation, airlines are responsible for checking the Green Pass for access to their transport services. On the other hand, it is not necessary to fill in the Passenger Locator form, which is only required for entry into Italy from abroad</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>ships and ferries used for interregional transport services, with the exception of those used for maritime connections in the Strait of Messina and those used in maritime connections to and from the archipelago of the Tremiti Islands</li>
<li>Inter City, Inter City Night and High Speed passenger rail</li>
<li>buses/coaches offering scheduled public services, continuously or periodically, on routes that connect more than two regions and with pre-established routes, timetables, frequencies and prices.</li>
<li>rental buses/coaches with driver, with the exception of those used to provide supplementary local and regional public transport services.</li>
<li>cable cars, gondola lifts and chairlifts, if used with closed protective domes, for tourism-commercial purposes and also when located in ski areas, without limitations on the sale of travel tickets</li>
